Former sales manager for Golf World and Today’s Golfer is now driving sales at MHS Group
Mark Thompson has been appointed as the new Sales Director at MHS Group, and is delighted, as he explains, “It’s terrific to be with a much admired name in club software at the most exciting time in its long history.”
Formerly responsible for the advertising sales of Bauer Media, Thompson took Today’s Golfer to its highest ever ad revenue and circulation figures. More recently as the digital sales manager for Heaven Media, Thompson has become well versed in digital technology and e-Sports.
Thompson’s part of the new team led by CEO Ed Beale and Development Director Tony Jones, as he comments, “Ed, Tony and I have worked together several times over the past few years, and I’m looking forward to driving the business forward with them. Tony’s making great things happen on the development front with founder Mark Hesketh, and client feedback to our latest software is very encouraging.”
He continues, “We believe MHS Group now has the kind of technology that today’s rugby club members and visitors really want. So I’m aiming to encourage as many local rugby clubs as possible to realise all the benefits our new technology can bring their members and their bottom lines.”
